Fred sent me the email below. Just get Firefox and NoScript, and you won't have to deal with this junk!

Hey Fred,

That looks to be an ad that is loading sound and another ad that is redirecting you to another page. Forumer should be shutting them down soon when they start getting complaints.

I do not think that they are dangerous, but they are very annoying!

I only experience this in Internet Explorer though.

If you want to not have to deal with that kind of stuff use Firefox and NoScript, as described here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=655 and you won't even see the ads.

Hi Mark,
While I was trying to attach a few photos of an upcoming Dec. 19th club run on our CLUB RUNS page, the page locked up and I had to shut down the computer. While the page was locked up, there appeared to be alot of web activity loading on the bottom of the page, i.e. it appeared to be either uploading or downloading data from the web. Lloyd had a similar lock up issue while he was attaching a map on the same site-he thought maybe a virus was trying to access our computer data? Don't know if there's a problem but though I better bring it to your attention..
Fred
