Think i have tried to down load the avatar i am useing on another bb. but it keeps telling me that there is no info at that location .
so how do i do this? or more important can i do this?

sorry i lost the paper i had it written on
it is my avatar on 4wd.com jeep forums and the site is not responding now .
wait what is a url? is that the string of information in my address bar right . like right now it reads

Yes, the address string at the top of the page is the url for this page, but not for the avatar image.
To get the url for just the avatar image on your post do this:
-Right click on the image and select properties
-A properties window will open and it will contain the url (address) for that image. In the case of your current avatar that is...
http://www.spinninfours.com/forums/imag ... rk/551.gifThe image is 551.gif, the rest of the url tells us where to go to find that image file.
-highlight the url (left click on the first part of the url and drag to highlight the entire url) then right click on it and select "copy". The url has been copied to the clipboard and can be pasted into another area or program.
-come back to this BB and go to the Profile area. Select the window you want to paste the address into, right click and select "paste". As long as you didn't accidently copy too little of the url, this should work. You could also just write it down, but "copy and paste" is much easier.
ALSO: The image must be no larger than 100x100 pixels and 8kbytes in size. If it is too large, our BB won't accept it.
