I went out to JV on Dec 17 and tried Outer Limits and Back Door. I was doing pretty good on Outer Limits until I busted a long side inner shaft, 35 spline stub shaft, and a steering ujoint on my front axle. At that point I decided to turn arount and head back to camp. I felt like I did pretty good in the Suburban especially when you look at the other rigs I was with. They were all Rock Truggys and Buggys. That sane thing to do after breaking all of those parts was not to push it any harder and head back to camp. So, that's when we decided to go to back door and see how much more damage we could do. I couldn't get up the first waterfall because I kept getting hung up on my rear bumper. If I would have used my winch (that I spent days setting up prior to this trip) I could have made it all weekend without breaking any parts and pulled myself up Back Door. Oh well. Too little, too late. I've already started building my CrewCab and the Suburban probably will never see another trail because it will be used as parts for the CC.

See you guys later,
Richard

Sad to hear you busted up your Sub, it will be missed on the trail. I bet you'd get some odd looks when you would come down some trail in that boat.
