Well, I have done a TruckTrader usual and re-tooled for the upcoming season. I sold my F450 and 18' carson because the wife wanted a motorhome, but we decided not to go that route (don't ask) so I had to re-create the wheel. I just bought a 26' Carson enclosed car hauler with living quarters up front with generator, microwave, and all the usual stuff you would find in a camper. I think it will work out really well and I got a smokin' deal on it.

I also needed another tow rig to replace the F450. What a kick in the crotch it was getting rid of that thing and then trying to replace it  Anyway, I just picked up a 1 ton Dodge dually with a cummins :D That should do the job nicely.

Soooo, when is the first trip? October?

Cummins... cool, back where you belong! Congrats!

October sounds good. I need to look at the calendar, check with Lynn, and start working on the Hot Rod!

Stay tuned.

Hey, that would work! The guy I bought it from used to haul the LJ80 in the back of his Dodge. The trick is getting it up and down safely

I'm sure we can make ramps. Expanded metal ramps with a reinforcement ( fold down leg) underneath half way up them?

Or tall jackstands with a base plate. So they don't sink.
