Fred and Brian joined me for the day to explore the eastern border of Johnson Valley. The recent thunderstorms created a nice "false spring" wildflower growth, but this area was amazingly carpeted in yellow flowers.

We found a fun optional entry into a sand wash. Fred decided to go around, but Brian and I had fun on the off camber slab and boulders to straddle at the bottom.

Thanks Fred and Brian for coming out and helping me explore this very remote area!
