Our club will be returning to Quartzsite, Arizona on January 21st for the annual Quartzsite activities and events that includes the huge RV and Outdoor show, 100s of swap and flea markets, various vendor booths, rock and gem shows, food courts, etc. plus great scenic and historical off-roading in the surrounding desert and mountain areas. Some of us may be arriving at different times or days, but we will keep in touch and offer needed information or directions via the excellent local cell service. Those of us that are leaving the 21st are weclome to join us for breakfast around 10AM at the Spotlight 29 indian casino at the junction of the 10 freeway and highway 86 outside of Indio. This year we decided to camp at one of the BLM free camping areas East of town. We''ll still be close to all of the activities, and there are extra water souces in town. Roy Francis is planning to arrive the 20th and will select a campsite large enogh to accomodate our group or 5-7 motohomes. I will post directions to the site in a few weeks. We found our small hand-held family walkie-talkies handy to keep in touch with one another while exploring the shows and wheelin'.
Remember to bring fire wood and Happy Hour food to share!

What are the exact dates you'll be there? We may try to go.

We're going on the 21st (Friday) and stay 4-5 days. Some of us are going to meet for breakfast at Spotlight 29 indian casino around 10AM and caravan to Quartzsite. This year we're going to camp at a free BLM site off the freeway East of town-if you don't caravan with us you can call my cell for directions-hope you can make it-you can use our motorhome appliances if you need to cook...bring firewood and Happy Hour stuff to share.
